Edwin
is a known figure in the Indipop and Delhi music scene. However
cliched it may sound he is different from the hundreds who flock
the music scene, unlike others he is devoted to his love for music
rather than the moolah that flows in. Living up to his commitment
to music he has opened a Guitar Institution that gives a chance
to many talented individuals who want to learn the intricacies of
playing the instrument. Edwin has been a part of many live performances,
is an ardent fan of rock music, finds remixes a money-making venture,has
worked with established names like the star maker Mr. Jawahar Wattal,
and artists like Anamika, Usha Uthup and found working with Daler
Mehndi an interesting experience…. delve more into his persona.
Originally
from Goa, Edwin met his first love in the Church…. the music
that inspires him till date has been absorbed in all those days
when he was a part of the church choir in his village at Per-Seraulim.
His stint at the Le Meridien marked his advent onto the Delhi music
scene and set the ball rolling towards a successful career and a
lot more hits to come. Fortunately lady luck smiled at him soon
enough and his talents got nation wide recognition. The music of
Anamika's Catwalk caught the attention of music lovers. The song
brought him into the limelight and his debut album as a music director
sold like hot cakes….this according to Edwin is just a modest
beginning for he has set his goals at a higher horizon.
 Performing
on stage is his forte because Edwin clicks with the audience instantly;
he has rocked Delhi on many occasions. Edwin and the bandwagon have
performed in the US embassy, in Planet M and many other momentous
occasions. Currently Edwin is working on his first album, which
is going to see the light of the day soon enough. Working with his
musician- friend from Canada Don, the Hindi pop album has the distinctive
style of Edwin 's technique that makes him the brilliant guitarist
and music composer that he his today.
